Termite barrier is in! Slab cure time

The slab must be finally cured as they’ve put in the termite barrier.

There is much debate about slab cure times. Some builders will start framing very quickly after laying a slab. I’ve even read some people say the next day. But the longer it cures the stronger the slab will be. The stronger the slab the less likelihood of any cracking to the slab and cracking to future walls as the slab shrinks back over time. Cracking to walls can later create issues with sticking doors in the house as things may become misaligned.

How long a slab cures is not a set time as factors such as builder’s professional discretion, thickness and type of slab, temperature and rainfall will all influence the time needed.
